About Us

Coffs Coast Derby began in 2010 with a group of women who were so enthusiastic that they shared a single pair of skates to learn and practice. Now the Coffs Coast Derby has grown into an inclusive community of mixed gender roller skaters ranging from kids to adults and beginners to advanced.

Coffs Coast Derby offers a range of programs including:

  • SkateFit – A 12 week fitness program focused on the fundamentals of skating.  Learn how to fall safely, stop, skate backwards, weave, and more in a supportive environment with accredited coaches. Ages 16 and up
  • Rollerama – Miss the days of when the roller rink was the place to go?  The fourth Sunday of every month we host Rollerama at Sportz Central where you get to skate with friends to music, play games, dance, and have fun.  These are themed events, dress up to your heart’s content! Ages 5 and up
  • Roller Derby – Want to learn what the game is all about?  How to score points, defend your team, and most importantly how to hit people safely and effectively?  Ages 18 and up

*Safety gear and skates are available for hire at all programs
